As we strive to provide the best grooming services in Nashville, we do ask our salon policies to be followed and respected at all times. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns in regards to our policies.
These policies are effective as of July 1, 2025.
Fee: $40.00 per pet scheduled
Cancellations must be made with 24 hours’ notice or at a minimum before closing the business day prior. All fees will be charged to the saved card on file included processing fees (3.5% + $0.30). If the client's payment is returned for any reason, we will require the balance to be paid in full before appointment can be rescheduled. We understand life can happen and we do give a one-time forgiveness provided on the first offense. If multiple cancellations occur in an unreasonable time frame, we will require a 25% non-refundable deposit for all appointments going forward. We will reserve the right to cease future appointments for any client that continues to cancellation last second of the appointments.
Fee: 50% of scheduled services
We will provide a 15-minute window after the appointment time before messaging via text to cancel the appointment, at which point it will be labeled a No Show and incur charges described below. All fees will be charged to the saved card on file included processing fees (3.5% + $0.30). If the client's payment is returned for any reason, we will require the balance to be paid in full before appointment can be rescheduled. We understand life can happen and we do give a one-time forgiveness provided on the first offense. After the first offense, we will charge the card on file for 50% of scheduled services. If this becomes an unreasonable occurrence, we will require 50% non-refundable deposit for all appointments moving forward. We will reserve the right to cease future appointments for any client that continues to No-Show for appointments. Any client on a recurring schedule may also lose their future appointments, resulting in booking each appointment individually.
For the safety and security of every pet entering and leaving our facility, we require every client to keep their pet(s) on a properly fitted leash/harness or in a carrier until we take full possession of your pet(s). We will not be held liable for any pet(s) that escape through the front door, get lost, get attacked, or become injured due to the negligence of not being properly secured in a carrier or collar/harness. Please be aware we have cats that live in our salon and roam daily, so we ask for prior notice if your pet(s) may be scared or aggressive towards cats so we may put them away for your drop off and pick up.
We understand situations arise where clients have other commitments where they may need to drop off earlier to avoid cancelling their appointment. So, we do allow all clients to drop their pets off at the time we open that day. This will not ensure pets are done faster, as we work based on scheduled time not arrival. We are not a daycare or boarding facility, so we will not be responsible for walking, feeding, or providing any services beyond Grooming and Bathing. It is the sole responsibility of the owners to ensure their pet have been feed, watered, and provided an opportunity to go potty before left in our care.
Effective June 1, 2025, we have implemented a $50.00 charge for any client that disregards our hours of operation and neglects to pick up their pet by 4:00pm. We do provide a 30-minute grace period, if your pet was not completed by 4:00pm. If any pet is left in our care for 1-hour past closing, we will provide that pet with water, walk them, and board them for the night with an additional $50.00 required upon pick up with will total $100.00 in total additional fees. If this occurs more than two (2) times within a 12-appointment span, all futures services will be terminated.
For the safety and well-being of our groomers and every pet we service, we retain the right to use muzzles, slip leads, safety restraints, and/or any other safety device we deem necessary if your pet(s) are deemed aggressive, overly stressed, or to difficult to handle. We retain the right to alter, cease, or refuse services, either current or future. Handling fees will be charged to any pet deemed aggressive or difficult until such day they are not.
As we strive to respect your schedule and time by getting each pet completed as quickly as possible, we do not guarantee any completion timeframe on any services provided. Our average turnaround is between 3 to 5 hours, which will depend on the pet breed, size, services provided, and current work schedule. We ask owners to not show up unless they have received a text from us that their pet is ready to pick up, unless they have not heard from us and they are arriving at 4:00pm or closing.
Our hours of operation will be based on the daily workload and closing times may vary day by day. We will open no earlier than 9:00am and close no later than 4:00pm. As of July 1, 2025, we are open Monday-Saturday (Monday's we open at 10am). We are a family business with priorities and responsibilities for our children outside of our salon, so we do ask all clients to be picked up by 4:00pm and we will close early if all dogs have left for the day. These times are non-negotiable and subject to change without notice.
Effective July 1, 2025, we do require every client to maintain a valid Credit Card on file. This card will strictly be used for cancellation fees, no show fees, or non-refundable deposits. Clients may also sign up to have this card used when not present for payments. Please note there is an additional Convenience Fee (3.5% + $0.30) added by our processor to all transactions done online with cards on file but not for in-person transactions.
All payments are due at the time of pet(s) pick up. We do accept payments in-person and online. All in-person payments must be done with exact Cash (we do not carry a lot of change) or by any major Credit Card, Checks are not accepted. If you pay online or via card on file, and the payment is returned and/or not received within 24-hours of service completion, there will be a late fee applied in the amount of $35.00 and may result in payments being required upfront before services are performed.
As stated in Tennessee Anti-Rabies Law, it is unlawful for any person to own, keep or harbor any dog or cat six (6) months of age or older that has not been vaccinated against rabies. As such we do require records be maintained at all times with us to provide proof your pet(s) are currently vaccinated for rabies. Other vaccinations such as FRVCP (cat only), Bordetella, and Distemper-Parvo are only required on a case-by-case basis.
We will not guarantee or force an all-over haircut on any puppy for the first few visits; regardless of temperament on the first visit we will only provide a mini groom to judge their comfort level. A mini groom will consist of a bath, brush out, nail trim, paw pad trim, sanitary trim, neatening of feet, and neatening of face/head. This is a process your dog will need to endure their entire life, and we want it to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible, so whether it’s us or another groomer we want them to be comfortable and well behaved for the entire process. If your puppy has been a mini groom or equivalent at another location but not an all over haircut, we will still judge the temperament and comfort level before we provide full haircuts on any puppy.
Upon discovery of any live fleas, we will contact the owner immediately and administer a flea bath promptly. This process will incur additional charges for flea bath and clean up that will be due at pick up.
We will not de-mat any coat that is deemed moderately or severely matted. We will perform de-matting on small areas of mild matting, but there will be additional charges for services, depending on severity, due to the extra time and effort necessary to remove the matting. We will not be held liable or responsible for any adverse effects from the mat removal process as it is the sole responsibility of the owner for the pet’s coat condition.
As pets age, they can become more difficult for grooming, so we will not push any pet senior or otherwise through a groom for its vanity to make the groom “perfect”. Not every pet is able to have a show quality or cute hairstyle, but we will provide the best they will comfortably allow us to do. After a certain age and sometimes for their entire life, they will need to have the basics done and nothing fancy, as it becomes more about their hygiene and health over their looks.
We understand most veterinarians will prescribe medication/sedatives to help animals during their grooming process that can be administered at home. But we are not veterinarians and will not administer any type of medication/sedative to any animal in our care, even if it may assist in the grooming process. We will not groom cats that are sedated under any circumstance and reserve the right to refuse services for cats on some medications. We also reserve the right to refuse services to any dog on certain medications or sedatives and will not be held liable for any dog or cat that may have adverse reactions to their medications or sedatives while in our care.
It is the sole responsibility of the pet owner to ensure every pet left in our care is fit and healthy enough for services being provided. Any services provided to elderly, ill, injured, or medicated pets will be done at the sole discretion of the Groomer and be the sole responsibility of the pet owner.
